Graduate Research Assistant
Kristen Erichsen is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Sociology Department at Florida State University. She serves as a graduate assistant under Dr. Lara-Perez-Felkner at the Center for Post-Secondary Success, a graduate assistant in the Sociology Department, and is an intern at the Office for Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability. She received her Master’s of Science in Sociology from FSU in 2017. Her research interests include school violence, school security, and sociological implications of public policy. Her dissertation explores the relationship between school security, academic performance, rates of disciplinary action, and parental involvement.
